Life is short and chaotic sweet as a tiny critter in a space pond with hungry Koi circling about.

This is a local multiplayer battle game and is designed to use controllers, so plug em in or bluetooth pair em up!

One player can use the keyboard, W,A,S,D or the Arrow Keys for movement, G,Y,J, Space Bar for Dash/Lure, use weapons. P: Puts the keyboard to sleeP.

Oh and there's a level editor, which you'll need a mouse and keyboard for. I feel like I did a pretty good job on it, but it definitely has its oddities and quirks.

Browser Issues: I've only tested in Chrome... and the level editor is pretty much useless in as it's not able to save what is made with it, it seems that you can test the default levels that ship with the game however. The shoulder buttons on game controllers don't seem to be recognized, and putting a controller to sleep does not work properly.

This is pretty fun! Love the animations and the gameplay. Makes me wish there would be a race version however, since the pond can be repetitive. And with friends it can really be interesting I think. Great work!

Oh that’s a good idea!

I was trying to keep the scope small, which is why it doesn’t go from place to place any, but I’ll definitely keep this idea in mind of a possible future plan.

Well for what it is worth, this is already better than a lot of games i played on itch! and if it continues it can definetly get big, like a speed runner with fish :3

Thanks! I worked on it for about 10 months before I published anything. In hindsight maybe I should have made regular posts as it progressed. I learned a lot more about Godot and working with an artist in the process (one of my best friends did most of the art, I did some of it). We have started a new project together which is what my focus is on currently. I do intend to come back to this one though.
